Short but well done, an intriguing little taste of a post pandemic world. Even in the short space the characters were well drawn and I would like to see more of the heroine Amanda and Henry and Steven who are no longer quite human.Product details

Excellent story as usual for MM Liu!
Story was interesting, kept feeling as though I missed something like a few chapters. That being said she is one of my favorite authors. Would like the story to be completed.
This one I loved but again I want more context.
Really enjoyed this short story by Marjorie Liu. Not what I expected at all.
I could see how this could turn into a very interesting series. I was hooked from the first few paragraphs.
Too short but very well written with very appealing characters.
This short story had the beginnings of something big and was cut off too soon. The post apocalyptic landscape coupled with paranormal elements described in poetic imagery are just the things that I enjoy about Marjorie M. Liu's writing. This could have been a whole cake and all I got were crumbs. I still liked it though
